In this photo of the island, the half timbered house on the left was owned by Mrs Rees and she sold ice creams and sweets from her back door. Opposite is another shop that you stepped down into run by my (Great? ) Aunt Ginnie.
I am Rodney Warner and lived in Ombersley from 1948 till we moved in 1957. There were 3 families of Warner's in the village, but now scattered around the world.
