Par Beach is seen at low tide with the china clay port of Par in the background. Bathing huts and tents line the shoreline of a sand spit which had been created over the previous 50 years, with a lagoon behind. This is now the Par Sands Holiday Park. The Ship Inn at Polmear is around to the right.
