Pupil At Heatherlands, With The Dreaded Mrs Jones...

A Memory of Parkstone.

I was born at 150 Rossmore Road in 1956. I attended Heatherlands school from 1960 to 1965.
Classmates I remember include:-
Alistair Rogers, (later attended Poole Grammar School)
Andrew Spicer, (Lived off the Branksome Recreation Ground)
Janet Matthews, (lived in Harford Road, no. 2? Brother Neil?)
Kenneth Gale, (later attended Poole Grammar School)

Christine Giles,
Susan Holloway,
Janet Mullins,
Timothy Whittle,
Philip Read, (later attended Poole Grammar School)
Philip Eden, (later attended Poole Grammar School)
David Mudd, (later attended Poole Grammar School)
Peter Trapp (believe he lived in Albert Road)
Shelley (Don't remember her surname)
Kim Mitchell (lived in Albert Road or just off of it)
Hazel Bodger (not sure she was in my class)
Paul Stanley (later attended Poole Grammar School)
Keith Booth (died, I believe, in a motorcycle accident)
Robin Williams (lived in Sunnyside Road, possibly number 50 or 51)
Sally Ann Whitney
Belinda Warren (father was a policemen, lived off the Rossmore Road)

Andrew Newton (possibly not in my class, lived on the Ashley Road with sister Pat)

Other children I remember that possibly weren't in my class or even in my year (I was born in 1956):
David, Christine and Carol Lovell (lived in Rossmore Road, parents Don and Margaret)
Sally, Dawn and Malcolm Roberts (lived in Rossmore Road parents Cyril and Maggie)
Stephen Reel (I believe he was sadly killed in a road accident. His parents owned a second hand shop on the Albert Road).
Donald (don't know the surname, he had an accident when an arrow went into his eye).
Kevin Sherwood, Elaine Boucher, Nichola Stevens (not sure about surname, parents Norman and Jackie),
My teachers were Miss Potter (assistant Miss Bell), Miss Warrington, Miss Lisby, Mrs Jones, Mrs Allen. The infants head teacher was Mrs Cutler and the headmaster at the primary school was Mr Millard.

I'd love to hear from anybody who has memories of this school.

Hi... I was here in the late 50’s... Mr Hillary was the head teacher... Mrs Dunscombe was my teacher and then in 4th year (Shaftesbury house - yellow) In the fourth year Mr Hilliard (I think) was my teacher and ran the football team. I represented the school against Poole school teams. We travelled by Hants and Dorset buses.
