Memories Of Plymouth Were I Was Born.
A Memory of Plymouth.
I was born at number 8 Castle Street, the Barbican Plymouth 1942 my mum was a daughter of the Higgins family. G G
Grandad use to run his boat from the Barbican across to Jenny cliff / Cawsands / Kingsands /Bovisands and when I was older as a little boy I used to help him. My Name was then Stocker but my mum died when i was very young indeed i never knew her, Her Sister adopted as she promised mum on he Death Bed and I became known as William Dudley,
My memories of Plymouth is to this day was one of the best places I have lived in and worked in. having seen it developed from the Bombed Ruins of the 2nd world war to to-day.
There are several places I am unable to place at times but there are many/ many places i have stood and thought I stood here many years ago and my heart is filled with joy and pleasure remembering the time's I had there with my mates,
