Looking For Ancestors From Pontypridd
A Memory of Pontypridd.
My Grandfather Stephen Martin was born about 1905 in Pontypridd he married Beatrice Hartshorn and moved to Abertysswg in the early 1930's,he then moved to Pontlottyn where in about 1947 he died.I unfortunately never had the chance to meet him and would like to know if there is any of his family living in the area. With the result of my research I believe the "Martin" family originated fron Towednack, Cornwall.,including my grandfathers father his name was Stephen Nicholas Martin. I have also discovered possible siblings of my grandfather their names are Beatrice Martin born about 1899 in Tylorstown,Mary Martin born about 1892 in Tredegar,Arthur Martin born about 1900 in Tylorstown and Margaret Elizabeth Martin born in Hirwaun.If anyone has any information of these people or decendants I would be grateful if they would contact me.
