Past Relatives
A Memory of Pye Bridge.
My grandmother grew up in Pye Bridge. Her father worked at the collary for some time. It came with some sadness though, her older sister having drownd in the canal at a young age and then her younger brother being lost in WWII age just 16. It seems like it was a close knit community and I am hopeful they would have had neighbours and community to support them through such difficult times. Thank you for keeping this page and for those that contribute about Pye Bridge - it helps releatives like me get another perspective of our dear one's past lives.
