Ranworth, Approach To The Broad c.1931

More about this scene
A brick-built cottage on the lane leading to the broad has an unusual herringbone pattern on the ridge of its thatched roof. The casement windows are the traditional style in Norfolk cottages. An abundance of wild flowers covered the hedgerows before spraying or cutting became common practice.
