More about this scene

The pretty little estate village of Ripley stands at the entrance to Nidderdale. It is dominated by its cobbled Market Square, which leads down to the castle, home to the Ingilby family for more than 600 years. This view shows a deserted square in front of the Star Hotel, on the right.
