Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

A Memory of Ripon.

Our family talked about an ancestor who owned Lickley Street and who drank himself to death along with his butler. Does anyone have any knowledge of this?

My great great grandfather, edward lickley, built the first 13 houses on lickley street. But I know nothing about anyone drinking himself to death. The family lived in Hutton Conyers, and my cousin still owns the family house there. My mother was Violet Lickley.
