Coachman!
A Memory of Riseborough Hall.
George Fletcher was Coachman to Risborough Hall in the late 1800's early 1900's he was married to Eliza who was housemaid to the Hall they lived in the tied cottage just inside the Gates of the Hall. Their daughter Mary was Nursery maid to the Children.
In the 1901 Census a Mr Thomas Harrison lived at the Hall with his wife Mary who was born and brought up in Paris France.
They had 5 children.
Percy Gloyne from Wakefield did some plumbing work at the Hall in the early 1900's he married Mary Fletcher they had one daughter Agnes who was my husband's mother.
