Rothwell, Holy Trinity Church And Memorial Cross 1922

More about this scene
The graceful war memorial recalls the men of Rothwell who fought and died in the Great War. Trees still line the road; at the end of it stands the town's ironstone Holy Trinity Church, the longest in the county. The original spire collapsed in the 17th century, but the top of it has been reset on the stair-turret on the north face of the tower.
