This looks like the top of Dunchurch Hill opposite the Roman Catholic church. I used to live on Rokeby Estate which was built at the bottom left of the hill around 1949.
Our French teacher and form master Mr Rogers at Lawrence Sheriff School lived in a house somewhere to the right hand side of this photo. Despite his rather unsympathetic teaching methods I did quite well in my 1952 GCE "O" level exams.
