Saltfleet, New Inn c.1965

More about this scene
The reason for the name is that the front part of the inn is the new part - it was added onto the existing part in the 18th century. There is now a brick extension that has been added behind the 'new' part going up the driveway that leads to the office of a caravan letting firm. The fruit tree climbing up the wall is still there, and so is what looks like a mounting block.
