More about this scene
The extensive remains of 12th-century Scarborough Castle crown the headland in the background of this summer time view of Scarborough's South Beach. Scarborough's sandy beaches are still as popular now with northern holidaymakers, who still throng to the seaside town for the donkey rides, candy floss and sticks of rock as they did 40 years ago.
