Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

As well as fishing, boat trips to the Farne Islands start from here. In AD676 St Cuthbert chose to live in seclusion on Inner Farne and remained there for eight years until his elevation to bishop. Cuthbert was away from the island for only two years before he chose to return, dying a few months later.

A favourite family story is how my father took charge of us children for the morning and brought us to Seahouses from our cottage in Beadnell. On this occasion, age 5 or so, while walking/running along this very harbour wall. on those wooden sleepers by the edge of the harbour, I fell off landing on the deck of one of these boats.
