More about this scene
Mums and children gather round to watch the antics of Punch and Judy, or buy an ice cream from Robinson and Eastwood's stall. The origins of Punch and Judy are in fact Italian, dating back to the Pulcinella of the commedia dell'arte, and first appeared in London in a marionette show around 1666.
