More about this scene
The shops in Elm Road are structurally much the same today, although they have changed ownership. For example, Walter's bakery is now a pet shop. St Cyr's Parish Hall is in the distance. Today, the new primary school buildings are beyond it. The large, stone building down Quietways, on the right, was the vicarage.
