Streatham Memories 1960's

A Memory of Streatham.

I lived on Fairmile Avenue and Credenhill Street. My first school was Furzedown Primary. In those days, we roamed all over Streatham, playing on Streatham Common, Tooting Bec Common, and all the little parks in between. As a teen, we stilled stayed close to home. My good friends were John Mills, Chris Walsh, and Ken Pracy. My first girlfriends lived in Albert Carr Gardens, and Gleneagles Road. Fun times at the Regal and Odeon Cinemas, the old Ice Skating Rink, the Locarno, and the Rumbling Tum.
