More about this scene
From Stour Street we head north along the river. This photograph was taken from the railway line looking east across the Stour. Ahead is the Water and Roller Mill, and to the left is the tower of St Gregory's Church, with the workhouse, or Sudbury Union, now Walnut Tree Hospital, in between. To the right are the houses of Stour and Cross Streets.
