More about this scene
The Manx Electric Railway was quick to capitalise on the popularity of Sulby Glen by offering personally conducted tours. For an all-in price, tourists travelled from Derby Castle to Laxey, where they boarded a Snaefell Mountain Railway car to the Bungalow. From the Bungalow they were taken by charabanc to Sulby Glen, where they were free to explore the area before making the return journey. The price included lunch at the Tholt-e-Will Hotel and admission to the glen.
