More about this scene

On land acquired from Hayes Farm, the architects W A Pite, Son & Fairweather constructed Sully Hospital between 1932 and 1936 to a competition-winning design. For many years the facility operated as one of the primary treatment centres for tuberculosis in Britain. Created in the International Art Deco style, its north facing entrance (pictured here) housed the nurses' quarters.
