More about this scene
Once a defender's last refuge, the Norman keep comprises a domed circular tower and square stair tower. Tenby has observed the weather for the Meteorological Office since 1892, and the tower still houses the sunshine meter. The shelter below the tower was also used for performances by the band. The statue is Wales's National Monument to Prince Albert, and was unveiled in 1865.
