More about this scene
Here we have an interesting village street. Wares from the small shop on the right spill out onto the pavement, and among other commodities it advertises petrol! A garage stands on the left with a hose stretching out towards the road. The church of St Michael, in the background, was largely rebuilt in the 19th century, but the west tower dates from Tudor times.
