Memories Of Oulton, Stone Staffs.
A Memory of Tittensor.
I lived in the village of Oulton & attended Oulton Primary School prior to joinong Granville Secondary Modern school on Stone at the age of 11 years.
I clearly remember many of the pupils & staff. Annette Powell, Judith Moss, Patricia Donnelly, Susan Darlington, Valerie Sturgess, Hazel Dix, June & Maureen Abbott's from Tittensor to name just a few. Among the boys Philip Leason, Graeme Hill, Duncan Masters & David McLeod. I was a keen member if the 1st Oulton Brownies & Girl Guides & I used to go on Bassetts Coachways from Tittensor on day trips with my family throughout the summer holidays. Those were very happy days & I have happy memories all these years later. Its amazing how fast the years have gone. I have visited many countries since leaving school & working as a Nurse. I am now residing in Warwickshire after 27 years in Scotland.
