As a small boy in the 50's on a Saturday morning me and Joey Hodson would walk up Garrett Lane from Summerstown to the pictures at the Granada. Tooting Grenadiers we were called at the Cinema. We couldn't have been more than10 yet we walked along the road without a care. We would knock on people's doors and run off.
