Caption for Ulrome, Top View Stores C1955: A large platform with huge oak supporting piles was discovered here in 1880. It is believed to have been a dwelling that once stood upon a lake, perhaps in the Bronze Age. The end house is in use as a shop, which would have served the caravan park on the land next to it.
