A Memory of Upminster.

My dad Eddie had a greengrocer's shop in Upminster in 1952, the year I was born. I know we lived in the flat above the shop, and it was quite near Upminster Bridge. Does anyone remember the shop?

Was this just before the bridge coming down the hill opposite the pub? My grandparents (Reg & Edna) lived in the corner flat (but may have occupied a different flat originally) - he ran a hairdressers. My mum was born in 1950..

Yes I believe it was my dad was friends with the couple who lived at the end of the row of shops
