A Memory of Walton.

Hello
My mother recently died, my mum was 83 years.
Mum was a cadet nurse in walton hospital from 1950 to 1953 approx.
Then mum did her SRN training qualifying on the 29/03/1956.
I have a photograph of her in her student nurse uniform it’s in black and white, could someone inform me of the colour of a student nurse dress was then please?
Also the little badge on her cap, I believe it was a small liverbird, was it red?
I’m trying to fit info together, I should have asked her when she was alive, I have so many regrets.
Mums name then was
Mildred Rose Allin
