More about this scene
Known as Wood Green High School today, the former boys' school was founded in 1924 at Wood Green Lodge, on a site which is now overshadowed by the M6 motorway. It was extended in 1926 and 1932, but in 1960 the lodge was demolished and replaced with the modern wing we see here on the left.
