Caption for Wellingborough, Silver Street C1950: This photograph was taken at the junction of Silver Street and Oxford Street. The first building on the right is now a cafe, but its overall appearance is much the same. The Angel Hotel on the left closed some years ago, though the prominent lettering on the upper part of the building is still faintly recognisable.
