Coronavirus: Thank you for your continued support in these difficult times. Since our office and factory are in a rural area, our staff travel to work individually by car and we have enough space to maintain social distancing, so in consultation with our staff, we have decided to remain open for business unless government policy changes.
We are still able to despatch most of our products, however, the ones listed below (that are made by other manufacturers) will not be available for a while.

Tableware (Coasters & Placemats) and Wallpaper.

Our despatch times are normal, but Royal Mail & Parcelforce delivery times are varying depending on location - some parcels arrive next day and others are taking up to 10 days, which we have no control over.

We will update this message as anything changes.

Another Gran - a Memory of Westbury.

My Gran lived in Westbury at 33 Chalford we never met her my Father who was born in the house transferred from the Royal Marine to the NZ Army after the war and never went back. We knew her as Another Gran and still refer to her as that to day. I treasure every thing i can find on where she came from, Her name was Ellen Bartlett and her married name was Grant. Google has made it possible for me to walk where she may have walked (although virtually ) these photos have made it possible to see it as she would have seen it. Thank You. Helen Porter

I am a decendant of Bartletts from Westbury. Maybe we are related.
*Oliver Bartlett born Westbury 1853 is my 2x great grandfather
* William Bartlett born Westbury 1823 and Louisa Eyres born Westbury 1824 are my 3x great grandparents.
*Samuel Bartlett of Chalford is my 4x Great grandfather

I haven't come across an Ellen Bartlett in my research as yet but I'm sure I will soon enough, Will be interesting to see if we are related in some way

Tips & Ideas

Not sure what to write? It's easy - just think of an important place in your life and ask yourself:

  • How does it feature in your personal history?
  • What are your best memories of this place?
  • How has it changed over the years?
  • How does it feel, seeing these places again?
  • Do you remember stories about the community, its history and people?
