More about this scene

Caption for Weston Super Mare, Trinity Church 1887: This is Weston's third new Victorian church, opening in 1862. It was the centrepiece of the “Cliftonville” area around Shrubbery and Atlantic Roads. The church was derogatively known as the “Bonnet Shop” due to the high fashion worn by its wealthy congregation.
