More about this scene

Converted from a Georgian private house, the Village Stores and Post Office is the communal centre of the South Yorkshire village of Wortley. The building is part of the Wharncliffe Estate and prior uses include a Farm, Abattoir, Butchery and Farm Office. The Butchers Block is still in the cellar under the shop floor. The road to the left behind the car leads to Wortley Hall.
