On this very field the F.A cup finals were played.  Of course in the imagination of young boys.  It served as a picnic venue, blackberrying with Mum and sisters.  Today it is a playing field with a small park for the youngsters.  Sunday league football is played here now but never with those names Tom Finney, the Stanleys (...Read full memory)
