Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.
Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

George And Dragon , Market Square
A Memory of Ashton.
My parents ran the George and Dragon. I can just about remember the place, but I do remember my brother and I sitting in a paddling pool aged 5 and 1 throwing water over the balcony. Our misfortune was it was over the front door.
The old pub seemed huge to me then, I remember learning to cycle in the bar. I went to school nearby(?) and I had to cross a cobbled street with tram tracks. Any Help with names? My first memory of nursery school was being made to have a sleep in camp beds in the afternoon.
Does anyone know where the materinity/nursing home was in Hyde as I was born there in 1955. I don't know anymore about where I was born but would like some more details.
