Lennard House, Aveley

A Memory of Aveley.

When my grandfather, Arthur Andrew Rush, proprietor of the Old Ship Pub in Aveley, died he left Lennard House and the surrounding land + two red brick cottages fronting onto Park Lane, to my Mother, Lilian Gough.
Granddad Rush had previously built in about 1949/50, two bungalows adjacent to Lennard house, One "Meadow View" for us and "Sunnymeade" for my aunt Gladys Barker.
My parents subsequently sold Lennard House to the Clarks. (They were a big family, Alan ("Boxer"), Colin, Ferdie, etc. I recall the senior Mrs. Clark, a big blonde woman. They later sold a house in Romford to Colin Clark

My Nan was Mrs Clark and I remember the house in Aveley. My uncle was Colin and he lived in Romford. Do you have any photos of Lennard House from the 1960's ?
