Eastwood Grange c1955 This is Eastwood Grange, but on the outskirts of Ashover are the remains of Eastwood Old Hall, built by Sir Thomas Reresby and blown up in 1646 by Parliamentarian troops commanded by that 'licenced ruffian' Sir John Gell.
