More about this scene
There was an urgent need for this school for the sons of Methodist ministers, for the ministers were re-located every three years. The project had occupied the church authorities for some years, and had Dublin or Portadown in mind. But when fifteen acres of ground became available at the foot of the Malone Road, the plans were completed.
