More about this scene
Five bridges step over the Windrush in Bourton before it flows on downstream to the village that bears its name, and then to Barrington, Burford and Witney to join the Thames. Coronation Bridge, the most recently built, commemorates the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. The oldest dates from 1754 and stands in front of the old Corn Mill, which opened in 1978 as the Cotswold Motor Museum.
