Bromley County Grammar School For Boys

Yes, I remember being there several times. I attended Bromley High School which, at that time (1951-1963) was located on Elmfield Rd (behind the station). Our school occupied 3 buildings/large Victorian houses on that street, but the assembly hall wasn’t big enough to accommodate students and parents for Prize Giving and other events, so we used the big hall at Bromley Grammar.

Hello and thanks for your comments. My school was boys only (hence the name) but I was vaguely aware there was an equivalent school for girls. I don't recall seeing the girls, who remained a mystery to me. And I didn't know our school hall was used by girls!
Sadly, the Grammar school no longer exists, and I expect it's the same with the girls.
