More about this scene

Narrow streets, pretty cottages (some of them thatched), fishing boats on the beach, and all in a beautiful setting on the Lizard peninsula, put Cadgwith on the list of places to visit once road transport had improved. A smart touring car is already causing congestion and interest while negotiating a narrow corner in the village.

A Selection of Memories from Cadgwith

For many years now, we've been inviting visitors to our website to add their own memories to share their experiences of life as it was, prompted by the photographs in our archive. Here are some from Cadgwith

Sparked a Memory for you?

If this has sparked a memory, why not share it here?

We moved to Cadgwith in 1979, the best move of our lives, everyone was so friendly. Our two boys grew up there and had the time of their lives fishing and playing on the beach. We were sad to leave in 1987 but will never forget Cadgwith. Steve and Shiela Thornton.
