The Dobson's

A Memory of Camberley.

Hi all, I joined the army in 1960 & did basic training @ Blandford Forum, Dorset. One of my pals was Alan ( nicknamed Ginge, ( not pc anymore ) Dobson, whom if memory serves me correctly lived @ 22 Barosa Rd, Camberly. When we got a week-end pass Ginge invited me to his parents home, as for me to go home to Glasgow, Scotland would have taken all week-end leaving me no time with my family & friends. His parents were brilliant with me, accepting me as one of their own. I remember Ginge taking me to the Blue Pool where with rubber knives in our mouths we had kid on fights under water.( Eat your heart out James Bond ) I really enjoyed my new family in Camberley, & would like to re-new aquaintance's with Ginge or his relatives. So please assist me in tracing Alan ( Ginge ) Dobson , thank you, David Falconer (jock 618 )
