More about this scene
The curious Mathematical Bridge across the Cam, built on geometric principles, and originally held together - so the story goes - without any fixing devices. Apparently when it was taken apart at the turn of the century to discover the principles upon which it was built, those who dismantled it could not reassemble it without the use of bolts.
