A Memory of Croydon.

Does anyone have any relatives or old pics of this house that used to occupy Ravenswood Road,Croydon.I believe it was demolished in the 30s but would love to hear more.

My gt gt grandfather James Taylor lived in "Ravenswood" from the mid 1850's until his death in 1867. He was a solicitor and had a very successful practice in Furnivals Inn, Holburn. I am disappointed to hear it was demolished, but I too would love to know more about it.

Thats really interesting.I managed to find a lot of details of the house from the sales particulars they have at the local library. .It must have been an amazing house based on the description and the size of the plot i have some details of the plot and house description but i don't think i can attach images here,otherwise i could scan them in.
