More about this scene
Mrs White was the proprietor of this hotel from 1911 to 1914. Between the entries of Hermitage Lane and Portland Road can just be seen the little shop of Arthur Paine, hairdresser; and on the right, at No 12 Middle Row, is William John Simmons Mann, Clothier and Hatter, established in 1887. He is advertising 'New Season's Goods.'
