Butcher In Eastleigh By The Name Of Creed In The 1940s

A Memory of Eastleigh.

I used to go to school with his daughter Rita Creed at Hillside School in Winchester in the late 1940s, and had to walk her each school day to Winchester Station. She lived in Archers Road Eastleigh. Thanks Peter Kitching.

My dad worked at creeds the butcher's in factory road about 1950
This may be too much to ask, but does anyone remember a shoe repairers in the town centre around 1960, my dad was the manager and we lived in a house at the back, the company may have been called shoe craft or timpsons. I was born in 1958 and we moved out in 1963 so I was very young but remember a man who worked there called percy who seemed very very old to me, he used to all me tuppence. We got our 1st tv there and I remember a girl called jenny gulliver but heaven knows why! But I'd love to know where abouts the shop was, thank you
