Ellesmere Port

A Memory of Ellesmere Port.

I was brought up in Ellesmere Port in the 50's 60's and 70's, initially in Woodfield Road, then South Road just off Wolverham Road. I started my education at Our Lady's in the tin church in Enfield Road, then at Windsor Drive followed by a return to Enfield Road. In 1966 I went to the Boys Grammar School on Overpool Road. I left the Port in 1974 to go to University in London. Briefly returned before marrying and settling in Chester.

Yeh, me to, I went to the the grammar school in 1966. I remember you. We were a couple of catholics in a sea of protestants, scary at the time ! ended up marrying one.
Hi Dave, not seen you for many years! I married one of the daughters of the Rector of St Thomas's in Whitby! I'm retired from teaching and living in Chester.
