Mary, Christine And Barbara's Summer Holidays.

Our grandparents, Arnold and Hilda Shea lived in Gargrave from 1935. He worked for Johnson and Johnson, I think he was an engineer. We three girls were born and lived in London. Gormless

This lamp post was commonly called The Gormless - I don't know to this day, why. We used to play chase round it and play marbles in the trough which you can see near the bottom.
