The old oak tree at Lassington is now lying on its side. However, a new tree is now in place and flourishing. The Lassington Oak Morris Men, named after the tree, dance in a fine Cotswold tradition, which brings fine weather, good luck and fertility.

I understand that in Highnam there is a large property transformed into beautiful gardens called Highnam Court. This property belonged to the Baronets of Guise until a century ago or more.
