The house on the right with the gate was called Inwood House after the several generations of the Inwood family who came from nearby Neatham. They lived here until 1855, when the old-established brewery, the 12 quarter malt house, the brew house, the stores, a dwelling house, an orchard and 5 acres of land were to be let.
